Our success & reputation over the years has been built by providing ship staff of the best quality and we are committed to enhancing their training and knowledge so as to increase levels of safety and quality in operations and reduce incidents/accidents caused due to a lack of awareness or non-compliance.

With this objective the Confidence Group established its own in-house training center -Ocean Education & Research Centre (OERC) which boasts of a very reputed, experienced and qualified Faculty, consisting of ex- Chief Surveyors and Examiners of the Government of India and Masters & Chief Engineers who are experienced on various types of vessels and who are also equipped with shore experience in the Maritime Industry. As a team, they provide interactive training to address all competency and mandatory courses required by the ship staff and also other fields of competence, which are company specific.Presently, OERC runs 28 Modular Courses,including STCW courses.

The Center is equipped with a well stocked library and in keeping with technological advances in training, the center is equipped with a Full Mission Engine Room Simulator, a 240 degree Ship Maneuvering Simulator, a Liquid Handling Cargo Simulator, etc.

A four year residential pre-sea training course for Marine Engineers is also conducted at this Institution. Our clients and seafarers are thus assured that their quest for Maritime knowledge and training of any sort is fulfilled by this Institution, which is also certificated under a Quality Assurance system.
